The lady to your left is Beth Harrison, project lead for Soy Crumbles UK. The bloke to your right is Brandon Wagner, 21 year old founder of the company and USA lead.
In early 2016 the founders of a multi-million dollar candle company took Brandon under their wing, bringing Soy Crumbles to a whole new level of quality never before seen in a soy based wax melt - making our products the strongest soy aroma product on the market.
BRANDON WAGNER, FOUNDER
Depression and anxiety are mental beasts who take a bad situation and turn the volume up to 100.
My name;s Brandon, I live with depression and anxiety and in early 2015 I took an attempt on my life. My 3 year long relationship was crumbling, my business and career falling apart and with each year someone near to me was passing away - now turn the volume up to 100.
I'm not saying this for pity, I'm saying this because I know you might relate. In reality I just summed up the causation of my suicide attempt in 3 sentences - but if you're like me you know it would truly take three novels to scratch the surface.
No one comes into this world knowing how to handle "the human condition", I doubt anyone leaves it knowing either. But through the past 2 years I've learned one thing can prevail all else - and that's hope.
"It get's better." it is almost said too much - but I'd like to ask you to stop and reread that short but powerful sentence, without stigma, without the branding, without feeling cheesy.
"It get's better."
A truer statement has never been told.
In early 2015 I found myself a triggers pull away from ending my life, and I asked myself an important question. "Do you want to end it now and throw away all hope that things could be better in life? Or do you want to give it another day?"
I walked away unscathed, with faith in tomorrow, and the next day and the next.
My promise to myself was simple: Stay. Busy.
I went downstairs and sat at the table with my Mother, who was unaware of what I was going through (I loved holding things in! Can you relate?) and pitched the idea . . . "Let's start a candle company." And after some discussion, we got cooking. We founded a breast cancer awareness line of candles, with the goal of helping the cause and helping my Mom get out of debt.
Now fast forward a few weeks - it's 2AM and I'm sitting alone with my thoughts (and that never worked out well!). In the spirit of staying busy to keep my mind away from the no-hope-zone, I scampered down the stairs and into our porch (the candle making room at the time).
I was mixing aromas, drawing little monsters and then - out of boredom and curiosity - I took a pink chunk of candle and blended it into dust with my blender.
"What the h*ll are you doing now, boy?" My father peeked into the wax room with his southern draw (2AM and I'm using a blender, can't blame him).
From that night we kept playing with the idea - blending a candle didn't work long term, and we had to develop our own machinery and techniques which eventually made this whole crumble thing more real.
The next year went by like a snap - and by the time I looked back, I had build a wax empire. I had a huge supporting #WaxFamily by my side. I had hope and most importantly - I looked inside and I had healed.
"Time heals all wounds."
After this, I began to confront my pain. The initial sting of it all had subsided. I had learned meditation, given forgiveness and accepted where my life had led me in the past year.
And I was happy where I was. I was happy with Brandon.
After this I decided to pivot the company back into what it had done for me - it had saved my life, and my biggest joy is in inspiring hope in others now, through my story, gentle reminders and even talking to those who need someone to listen (me and my team are always here - we're not professional therapists, but if need be we can put you in contact with 100% FREE support hotlines we know, like and trust).
Many hugs from me and the USA team, Brandon Wagner

Well Hello There! What a pleasure to meet you. My name is Beth, a self-confessed candle & wax addict! I have been a huge scented candle and wax melt fan for the last 13 years. When my friends bought concert tickets or expensive shoes – I bought scented wax! I often find that fragrances can create so many different moods, and ambiences, that they can alter your mood, and transport you somewhere else completely.
Mood, and attitude, are two things that have affected me, as I was diagnosed with a mood disorder in 2014 – Bipolar Disorder. When talking to my counsellor after the diagnosis, one of the things that I said was important to me to lift my mood was fragrance. From a candle, a perfume, a shampoo or body lotion, or fresh flowers.
Fragrance holds a memory for me, and it’s like a gentle hand on my shoulder and something to let me go to wherever I want to be. A beach to relax, a kitchen where there is a cake baking, or a soft comfy bed.
I opened my own candle business 6 months after my diagnosis. I chose to leave my banking career behind me and to be the smiley face that hand over a bag of wonderful wax to fellow candle lovers.
In May 2016, I was looking for some new products to stock. I reached out to Brandon in the USA as soon as I spotted his products I KNEW I needed to try them. They arrived… I tried them…BLOWN AWAY!
I looked into the brand further, and blow me down with a feather – not only are these wax melts the strongest, most fun and sassy ever…. Brandon and his brand ethos is SO close to my own heart. To reach out, to spread a sunbeam, to give the gift of a smile through your senses.
I contacted Brandon again. “I need to bring these Crumbles to the UK’ I said. And he said ‘LET’S DO THIS’
After 12 months of importing Crumble Co's products from the states, in June 2017, I became the first Franchisee of the company, and we now manufacture all of our products in Staffordshire, England, and we LOVE it!
Here we are today! I am beyond proud to bring you Soy Crumbles UK & Europe!
Welcome, my lovely to the #WaxFamily Hugs & Happy Melting, Beth & #Teamcrumbleuk
Thanks and hugs to the following ladies for all their help and support
